Finally, its over.  Larry Birkhead has been determined to be the father of Anna Nicole’s daughter Dannielynn.  Whoopee… *yawn* 

I suppose in the end this is the best possible thing that can happen for the kid.  The rest of the cast of characters are just that… characters.  Now if Virgie Arthur can keep her greedy lawyers, investigators and glory seeking advocates out of their lives this child might have a shot.

So, this imbecile Judge Seidlin holds the media captive for nearly a week over this Anna Nicole Smith nonsense, and then ends up doing what anybody with half a brain and the ability to comprehend english knew he should have done.  It is quite apparent that this guy tossed aside the law in order to hold this circus of a proceeding, and then in the last instant pulled it from his hat for convenience sake.  Thankfully, the woman is finally going to be buried but all parties involved should be embarrassed by their behavior.  While it was nice to see that they came together in the end it was not at all voluntary and for me was much too little, much too late.

I cannot believe that there is some sort of paternity hearing pending in Florida.  Florida doesn’t have jurisdiction, and frankly I am sick of seeing our court’s time and money being invested in this ridiculous venture.  One thing that is exceedingly apparent when it’s all said and done is that all of these people deserve one another.

Nuff said.

Poor Paul McCartney

They often say that, there is no fool like an old fool.  They often also say that, a fool and his money will soon be parted.  Well, it seems to have taken four years (the term of his marriage to Heather Mills), for both of these age old adages to take hold in the life of the beloved Sir Paul.  Even casual observers could see that Heather Mills was no Linda.  The latest revelations offered by Mills, seem to indicate that while she is an opponent of landmines, she has absolutely no problem with tossing around incendiary accusations about violence in her marriage.  High irony?  Not really.  Whether or not he really “stabbed her with a broken wine glass”, is almost irrelevant.  Whether or not it happened, it will play as desperate with the “people”, and that’s perhaps the saddest thing.  Here is a guy that has intentionally lived his private life outside of the super nova that is Beatle fame, and he is being run through the mud for nothing.  Mud or no mud she’s going to get paid.  At this point it seems that Heather Mills is more eager to bring Paul McCartney down to her level rather than pulling herself up to his. 

Old guys end up spending their kid’s inheritance or their pensions on strippers and “whores” every day.  My recommendation to Paul; shove $50 million down the front of her shirt and put her behind you.  The bitch has always been bad news.

“Will you still need me, will you still feed me, When I’m sixty-four?”

Kim Jong-Il and North Korea join the nuclear family!

Hey, it’s official!  Tests indicate that North Korea did set off a small one kiloton nuke on October 9th, making Kim Jong-Il the whacky uncle in the nuclear family.  Doesn’t it just make you feel warm and cozy, knowing that somebody more reckless than intelligent, has the bomb?  Aww well, we can all feel safe and sound because we have our fully functioning missile shield to protect us.  It is fully functioning, right? ….. Oh shit, we’re screwed.

Jeb Bush: I Wasn’t Hiding in the Closet

Bush said it was actually a boiler room. 

Bush said he had to seek safety in the boiler room when he came across the protesters, but also said he was never concerned for his safety because he was taller and “more burly” than most of the protesters who chased him.

Now that is laugh out loud funny!   I wish Jeb had been the Bush son to follow 41!

Harry Reid and his shady land deal

Proving that no party in government is truly trustworthy, Senator Harry Reid D-NV is now under fire for a Nevada land deal that saw him pocket $1.1 million dollars in 2004.  That figure triples his initial investment of $400,000 in 1998 when he bought the land.  Also involved in the deal is a convenient rezoning that changed the designation of the land from residential to commercial, as well as a government land swap that Reid supported.  But wait there’s more!  Reid is also accused of having already sold the land to a partner in the land deal for $400,000 in 2001 without ever having disclosed it to the Congress… if true this would mean that Reid sold the land twice!  If it all seems a little confusing it’s because it is.  You can read a pretty decent breakdown of events here. 

I’m not a big fan of Harry Reid.  I think he is an abysmal counter against the run amok Republicans and poses absolutely no threat to the crazies that have taken over my old party.  He is weak and apparently now, subject to scrutiny and I don’t think he is going to be able to press investigations into Republican shenanigans given this debacle.  Come November 8th, this government is going to have to take a long hard look at itself and what has happened in the past 6 years.  I don’t think Harry Reid is the man to handle it.

The disgusting sign off that is often used by Nancy Grace is almost comically relevant to this blog.  I have been busy with a few things and the blog has sadly suffered.  My webmaster assures me that the final design for this “site” will be done shortly but the delays have diminished my enthusiasm a bit.  How else can I explain allowing the Bill Clinton implosion to escape scrutiny here?

Stick with me, the new front for this site is really coming together nicely, if slowly and will help a lot in setting an identity for mycroscope.com.  I am indeed hurrying back!
