I expect that at about 8PM tonight, given that Barack Obama is victorious, liberals will immediately cease their ranting about what a lousy country America is. Isn’t that just a wee bit disingenuous? What does that say about liberalism? Will Obama stop the Iraq war overnight or even in the next year? No. Will the “war” as libs have been calling it, suddenly become a “peace keeping” mission? Probably. Suddenly the prism through which liberals view this country will skew the issues in a way that will be 180 degrees different from this morning. Honestly, these are the kinds of unprincipled people that will be running this country should Obama win. Doesn’t that make you feel great?
Will Conservatives commence with America bashing? I doubt it. I think the attacks will be focused in on the warped ideas of these liberals, not on painting this country as the scum of the earth. I must admit, it will be nice to have these liberals silenced for a while. Me on the other hand. I am going to take every opportunity available to say, “I told you so,” if this guy is actually elected.
