Criticism of Michelle Obama low class? Barack wants GOP to lay off his wife…

Barack Obama doesn’t like that the Tennessee GOP has been going after his wife, focusing on comments she made about how proud she was of this country.  It seems that they’ve produced an ad that takes issue with what she said and her patriotism.

The video, posted on YouTube, centered on remarks Michelle Obama made while campaigning in Wisconsin last February, when she said: “For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country.”

The four-minute video replayed the remark six times, interspersing it with commentary by Tennesseans on why they are proud of America. In a news release that included a link to the video, Tennessee’s GOP said “the Tennessee Republican Party has always been proud of America.” It urged radio stations to play “patriotic music” during Michelle Obama’s visit to Nashville last Thursday.

Michelle Obama later clarified the remark, saying she meant she was proud of how Americans were engaging in the political process and that she had always been proud of her country.

Is Barack Obama for real?  If your wife is out in front, shooting off her mouth (or sticking her foot in it), then she is fair game.  What, she’s entitled to her opinion but if you disagree with her you aren’t entitled to yours?  This woman has called America, “mean”.  Her clarification about her comments where it concerns pride in country just doesn’t ring with any kind of truth.  This is a woman that obviously has issues with this country.  That’s fine, but expect to get some blow-back.  It would be dumb if the GOP did not hold Michelle’s feet to the fire.  If Barack wants criticism of his wife to subside, he should tell her to shut her pie hole.  If she wants to be out in front making judgments, she ought to be prepared to get some leveled against her.

Michelle Obama is a liability and a weakness and she ought to be exploited.  If this is the woman that will be engaging in pillow talk with the potential leader of the free world… she’s fair game.
