In what might be the most desperate attempt ever made to appease critics, Imus has gone out and gotten himself a female black sidekick, who also happens to be jewish. Talk about covering your bases!
Imus’ black sidekick is an Oxford-educated Texas cowgirl whose career has ranged from broadcast journalism to stand-up comedy, sources told The Post.
Karith Foster, a Harlem resident who grew up outside Dallas, was brought on by Imus to ease tension stirred up by his racist comment about the Rutgers women’s basketball team, which got him booted in April, sources said.
Well at least the “source” was honest in the assessment. Imus wasn’t happy with just one token black though… he went the extra mile and got two, also added to the cast is another african american comic by the name of Tony Powell. I don’t know, maybe these two are hilarious and extremely talented (never heard of either one), it’s nothing about or against them. I just think the whole thing is tacky as hell and little more than a stunt.
