What are the chances that Israel and the United States are going to allow Syria and Iran to develop a nuke? I’m going to go out on a limb and say zero. Now with two hostile states having programs underway, I can only suspect that we’ll see a heightened response to the situation. Israel has been in the news as of late for sending military jets over Syrian airspace and it’s been reported that they took out a missile base as recently as yesterday. Now we know why. They’ve spotted nuke installations.Â
Meanwhile on Wednesday the Nazareth-based Israeli Arab newspaper The Assennara cited anonymous Israeli sources as saying that Israeli jets “bombed a Syrian-Iranian missile base in northern Syria that was financed by Iran… It appears that the base was completely destroyed.”
According to the Times, American officials confirmed Tuesday that Israeli jets launched an airstrike inside Syria. Sources said that Israel struck at least one target in northeastern Syria, but could not provide more details.
The most likely target was, according to some administration officials, weapon caches sent by Iran to Hizbullah through Syria.

North Korea commented on the incident Tuesday, calling it a “dangerous provocation”, Chinese News Agency Xinhua reported on Tuesday.
Funny that North Korea should be commenting on this matter, isn’t it. Ugh. Airstrikes region wide by Christmas… there I said it. Mark my words, kids.

Apologize for spying on the Jets, and it’s all better?  SCREW YOU. You have a major pair on you tough guy. The league better throw the book at you. Hell, they should suspend you. Why shouldn’t the example be set from the top? It was YOUR responsibility, and probably YOUR orders. You’re a pathetic SOB. You wanted to maim people on Sunday. You put careers in jeopardy. You’re a slug. What a hard-on you have for Mangini and the Jets. “Homo says what?”
Belichick said he spoke with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell this week about a “videotaping procedure” during last Sunday’s game and “my interpretation of the rules.”
“At this point, we have not been notified of the league’s ruling,” Belichick said in a statement. “Although it remains a league matter, I want to apologize to everyone who has been affected, most of all ownership, staff and players. Following the league’s decision, I will have further comment.”
Arrogant to the last. Your “interpretation”, of the rules means jack, pal.Â
A vacuum bomb. Will we never fail to develop ever more clever means of killing one another? It’s nice to see that Putin and Company are back to chest thumping along with the Chinese and everybody else. It’s like old home week! Would we have invented anything as a species if not for our primitive need to destroy? I don’t think so. It’s a shame that we don’t face a legitimate threat other than ourselves, maybe then we might actually clue in to what a complete waste of time all of this destruction truly is.
